Climate change is according to the WHO the greatest threat to human health in the 21st century. By bringing together leaders in climate change and health research the CICERO-coordinated Horizon 2020 project ENBEL will contribute with knowledge and policy advice on climate change and health links.
CICERO researchers Elin Lerum Boasson and Merethe Dotterud Leiren have edited a new book about support schemes for renewable energy, which analyses and compares policies to promote the development of renewables in six European countries.
Daily global fossil CO2 emissions fell by 17% in early April 2020 compared to 2019 amid coronavirus lockdowns in most countries, with full-year 2020 emissions set to decrease by up to 7% depending on future social distancing.
This project seeks to enable people of the European Union to go even greener - in transportation, heating and cooling, and electricity choices - by understanding the drivers of our energy choices.
The Sustainable Market Actors for Responsible Trade project is an Horizon 2020 project funded by the European Union. CICERO contributes with research on hotspot analysis and dissemination and stakeholder engagement.
